Summary

The Collateral Analyst is responsible for assisting in the monitoring and management of the asset-based lending loan portfolio. 

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting in the maintenance, monitoring and management of the asset-based lending loan portfolio, which includes client communication, account monitoring, monthly client reset review, lockbox processing, payment application, collection and analysis of client reports and processing client advance requests.
• Assists in various administrative and support duties, including handling daily banking activity and UCC filing and upkeep.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Skills/Experience/Education

• Two-year Business Degree, Accounting and Finance preferred, or other equivalent experience required.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and general computer skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Essential Mental & Physical Requirements

• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
• Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
